End of the Road 2010

The End of the Road Festival have just announced the first six artists confirmed to appear at the 2010 installment of the Dorset bash.

Wilco is confirmed as a major headliner. The Mountain Goats, The Low Anthem, Diane Cluck with Anders Griffin and AA Bondy will also be appearing, as will Canadian folk band The Wilderness of Manitoba.

The announcement coincides with tickets for the three-day festival going on sale.

The festival will also be increasing the size of the Tipi Tent, which will now be a circular tent of Tipis, all joined together, creating more viewing area, while keeping its magical intimate feel.

As 'The Local' booked such popular bands for their stage last year, The End of the Road has also decided to increase the size of their venue and give them their own mini Big Top.

There will also be an increased program of workshops for both children and adults, with sessions that carry on longer into the evening.

The End of the Road Festival takes place from 10th-12th September 2010 at Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset.

Ticket prices for the festival are as follows:

Adult weekend (incl. camping): £130
Youth 13-17 years (must be accompanied by an adult): £120
Child 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult): £50
Child 0 - 5 years (must be purchased in advance & accompanied by an adult): FREE
Campervan / Caravan pass £45
