Oxegen Festival price freeze
Oxegen Festival 2009 is set to be Ireland's biggest music event in this summer's calendar, with organisers today announcing a prize freeze on this year's ticket prices.
Tickets, once they go on sale on Friday 6th March, will bear last year's price of €224.50.
Festival headliners already confirmed as Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, The Killers and Blur. Other big names including Katy Perry, Razorlight, and Mercury Prize-winners Elbow are also set to perform.
Festival-goers who registered through Oxegen's website will be offered the chance to purchase priority pre-sale tickets from Wednesday 25th February.
A free car park pass is being offered with each four tickets purchased in an attempt to boost sales.
Other bonuses include an Early Bird Reward (€20 cash-back for those who bought tickets before 31st December 2008), and Flexible Payment (which allows you to secure your ticket with a €120 deposit).
Oxegen Festival takes place from 10th - 12th July at Ireland's Punchestown Racecourse. For more information visit
