Over the last weekend of July 2010, in the rolling Yorkshire Dales amid luscious greenery and parkland forests, there returns one of the most hotly-anticipated festivals in the calendar: The Magic Loungeabout.
Simon Adamson, TML's director, explains what the festival's about: "We took 2009 as a sabbatical, to distil everything we gleaned from last year's festival. For us the key element is listening to the people who attended in 2008 and we had plenty of great feedback.
"We're paying even more attention to the tone of the festival, to the production, and believe we have got something really special. It will really feel like you're going to a different place altogether."
The festival embodies the spirit of magic and adventure and eclecticism, and is the perfect tonic for intimate escapism, far away from the sprawling, large scale events criss-crossing the UK.
The Magic Loungeabout welcomes bright young things, as well as those of a more mature orientation who still like to party, but in a finer, refined style.
The festival promises to be all about music, fun and games – in a beautiful setting where a touch of glittering class permeates everywhere you look.
