Wickerman VIP offer

Organisers of Southern Scotland’s premier event have promised a VIP upgrade to the first 500 people who purchase a weekend ticket.

Festival Press Officer Caroline McCleary felt that “VIP status is always sought after no matter what type of event” and she anticipated keen demand for Wickerman VIP wristbands.

In addition to the upgrade offer Wickerman tickets are also being frozen at 2008 prices.

Festival chair Jamie Gilroy explained “The new weekend ticket price of £80 incorporates booking fees, camping and parking charges effectively making the 09 ticket the same price as 2008”.

He also added “A new half price ticket for kids aged 13-15 will help families struggling for cash in the current financial crisis”.

The Wickerman Festival takes place on the 24th and 25th July 2009 and is celebrated for its laidback family atmosphere and torching of a gigantic Wicker effigy.
