Guns N' Roses Streaming New Album For Free

Normally Axl Rose, Guns N' Roses' charismatic lead vocalist, would be a little more concerned about fans listening to an album of his band's new material for free. And for an album that has been plagued by leaks throughout its turbulent history, Chinese Democracy is no stranger to controversy; only this time it's a relief to see it's not all bad news for Axl and associates.

In a strange, but positive move, the band has decided to allow fans to try before they buy, streaming the entire album free, with 14 brand new songs currently accessible at the group's official MySpace page. But you'll have to hurry, as tracks will only be available until Sunday, when Guns N' Roses' eagerly awaited 5th studio album goes on sale in the US, exclusively through Best Buy stores.

The album will be released in the UK the following day: Monday 24th November. Guns N' Roses management have sanctioned a special tribute band called Lose Your Illusions to play several sets throughout the day in Zavvi Music store on London's Oxford Street.

The band - currently planning a tour of their own - will perform several songs for the occasion, including 'Madagascar' and the title track from the new LP.

In other GNR related news, many fans have reported receiving emails within the UK from HMV, stating that pre-ordered copies of their new GNR CDs have already shipped from the company's distribution warehouses - several days earlier than expected.
