Eskimo Joe to tour the UK this December

Australia's answer to Coldplay hit the UK next month to showcase their third album, Black Fingernails, Red Wine.

Eskimo Joe have rocketed to the top in their home country, with comparisons being made to classic stadium rock bands such as Coldplay, U2 and Snow Patrol. Their last album climbed all the way to the number one spot in Australia, going quadruple platinum and selling 400,000 copies.

Eskimo Joe are now heading to the UK in order to showcase their amazingly catchy, brooding new wave tones with killer hooks and a solid rock edge this December. The tour's promising to be a taster of things to come when the album is released here early next year.

The dates are as follows:

3rd December The Hub Dublin
4th December Electric Ballroom London
5th December Roadhouse Manchester
6th December Bar Academy Birmingham
7th December King Tut’s Glasgow

After eight years together, Eskimo Joe are making the best of their talent:

“No-one in our band is in it for their ego; it’s all about the songs,” says guitarist Stuart MacLeod. "We’re very lucky to have this relationship between the three of us; it’s getting stronger and stronger, and it’s much more of a brotherhood now than it ever was."

Their third album has now been released in both the US and Australia, and has received stunning reviews, as well as three ARIA Awards including Best Single for the album’s title track.
