Veteran rockers Europe, best known for their 1986 smash hit 'The Final Countdown', return to the UK this week following rave reviews of their 2009 Bloodstock festival headline slot.
The band are touring in support of their latest album, Last Look At Eden, which has been highly praised by the British media since its release for both its technical ability and its rock and roll attitude.
Fans should expect to hear classic tracks like 'Carrie' and 'Cherokee' alongside newer material such as 'New Love In Town' and the album's title track.
Joining Europe on this tour will be NWOBHM legends Diamond Head, who themselves have recently announced a festival headline slot at Metal Forces XIII. They have inspired countless bands like Metallica and Megadeth.
Staple Diamond Head tracks 'The Prince', 'It's Electric' and 'Am I Evil? have been immortalised the world over by Metallica and their consistent praise of the band's ability and influence.
With two headliners playing such intimate dates on a whirlwind tour of the UK, it's not to be missed.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £17/18 from all major vendors.
Europe, with special guest Diamond Head, plays the Newcastle O2 Academy on 27th February.
