Being Hot n' Cold with Katy Perry

Citing Freddie Mercury of Queen as one of her biggest childhood influences, and having released a Christian album at age 16, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson became known to us all as Katy Perry here in the UK earlier this year with "I Kissed a Girl" (officially the 2nd single from her album One Of The Boys).

Now Katy, perhaps everyone's dirty little secret, has agreeded to present the European Music Awards for MTV and released another song from her album. This time, she's being jilted at the altar and getting her revenge, in Hot n' Cold.

But, if you're one of Perry's fans, you have no doubt heard about the immense growth of the song's YouTube influence. Looking for a follow up to Rick Rolling, the site has a collection of videos made by fans, who recreated the song in various locations and styles.

Most commonly, it features either one or two teenage girls dancing in their bedroom and miming the lyrics, whilst in one case it features a collection of characters from the SIMS PC game while the song itself is in Simish (the official SIMS language).
