Leon Jackson: £25K for 3 songs
X-Factor winner Leon Jackson's agents have demanded a whopping £25,000 for singing just three songs at Scotland's Hogmanay performance.
Carlo Citti, manager of the Glasgow club Campus told the Daily Star “Leons agents have greed–itus."
The club boss is fuming after being asked to pay the outlandishly high fee.
Carlo said: ”the artist only played a tiny set on 27th Dec – Hogmanay.”
Carlo was told by Jackson’s agents that the same fee would still apply over the coming months and was not higher than normal because of the Christmas period.
The club manager added that he thought the fee was ridiculous. He claims he can hire artist’s such as David Hasselhoff for £15,000, Peter Andre and Jordan for £7,000, rapper Coolio for £3,000 and the MacDonald brothers for £2,500.
He stated that only Girls Aloud charge £25,000 and there are
five
of them.
