Placebo announce online album premiere

Placebo have announced that they will premiere their new album online this Friday.

Battle For The Sun will be given an official release on 8th June, but from 9am on the 29th May fans will be able to listen to the songs through the band's website.

The playback will be available untill midnight on the 31st.

Signing up at www.placeboworld.co.uk will give you an exclusive code to access the preview website.

Meanwhile, the band have announced that tickets for their December tour to support their sixth studio album will go on sale at 9am on 29th May from www.gigsandtours.com.

Placebo's December tour dates are:

Tuesday 08^th                       Birmingham LG Arena
Wednesday 09^th                  London The O2 Arena
Friday 11^th                           Bridlington Spa
Saturday 12^th                     Manchester Central
Monday 14^th                        Glasgow SECC
Tuesday 15^th                       Dublin Olympia Theatre

Placebo will also be on the festival circuit this summer, with appearances booked for Rockness, Reading and Leeds.
