The Rakes announce October tour
London lads The Rakes are set to return to the UK this year for a short tour this autumn. The Rakes will play Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham and London at the end of October.
And with the success of their latest album Klang, their most critically acclaimed to date, these shows are predicted to sell out fast.
Recorded in Berlin and produced by Chris Zane, who has also produced the likes of Passion Pit, the album received rave reviews from critics.
Singer Alan Donohoe said: "The album is raw, playful, exciting, complex and schizophrenic - much like the personality of Berlin itself. It couldn't be more of a fitting place to record it."
The Rakes will release second single, 'That's the Reason', as a digital download only on 1st June.
Confirmed tour dates are as follows:
October
26 - Cockpit, Leeds
27 - Thekla, Bristol
28 - Academy 2, Birmingham
29 - Forum, London
