The Futureheads announce live dates

The band, who kicked off January’s student union tour, will play a string of dates in February and March, leading up to the release of new single 'The Beginning Of The Twist' on 10th March.

The Futureheads have also announced on their website a handful of in-store sessions for next month.

The band will be signing copies of their new single The Beginning Of The Twist and performing both full-band and acoustic shows around the north of the country.

The first sessions take place in Sunderland and Newcastle on the day of the single's release, 10th March. The details are:

10th 12.30pm HMV Sunderland (Signing & Acoustic Performance)
10th 6pm HMV Newcastle (Signing & Full Band Performance)
11th 5pm HMV Birmingham (Signing & Acoustic Performance)
12th 6pm HMV Manchester (Signing & Full Band Performance)

The in-store performances will follow the band's Spring tour:
