We Are Scientists release third single
On September 8th, We Are Scientists released the third single from 'Brain Thrust Mastery', the follow up to their major label debut 'With Love And Squalor', the follow up to 27 years of obscurity and inconsequence.
'Impatience' deftly combines a driving, four-on-the-floor beat with huge three-part harmonies, call-and-response verses à la Roxy Music, and a sweet summertime melody served up by the dork-hot New York 2-piece-plus just in time for autumn.
Singer Keith Murray and bassist Chris Cain, along with stage-mates Max Hart-Keys and Adam Drum-Aaronson, have spent the summer successfully driving home their message at Glastonbury, T In The Park, Oxegen, and Lithuania's Skullcracker Fest. The band will complete Europe's education at festivals including Reading and Leeds, Jersey Live, Pukkelpop, Frequency, and with a tour supporting REM on the continent in September.

We Are Scientists - Impatience (Virgin Records)
Single number three from geek-chic rockers We Are Scientists may not impress at first, but be patient and give this grower of a tune a chance.

We Are Scientists - Chick Lit (Virgin)
Another enthralling number from the US rockers, full of wailing guitars and powerful lyrics. Does it stand out from the disappointing second album?
