Wolfmother to premiere new material at intimate London gig

Wolfmother have announced their imminent return to the UK live circuit, with an intimate London show pencilled in at the Lexington venue in Islington on 12th August.

The gig should provide Andrew Stockdale and his new line-up with an opportunity to showcase a decent wedge of songs from the band's forthcoming second album, 'Cosmic Egg', due for release in the autumn.

Although advance tickets for the show have sold out extremely quickly, Ticketweb and a source at the Lexington have both confirmed that another batch of tickets will be available on the door, on the night of the show.

Support on the night will come from Toe Hammer, while Wolfmother are set to return to Europe for a further set of concerts later in the year.
