Enter Shikari - Juggernauts (Ambush Reality/Tiny Evil)

Enter Shikari's metal-infused synth screeching is not for the faint of heart. This is the kind of band which will either make your ears bleed or have you dancing like a maniac on the dancefloor. Maybe even both. 'Juggernauts', the first single from new album Common Dreads is no exception.

This song hits you like a fist to the face from the first second it starts. Its rave-like synth-electro noise and screaming lyrics is like nothing you've heard on commercial radio before. Yet this is Enter Shikari at their most accessible. This band have never been more mature or focused. Yes, this single, like their previous material, is screechy and loud but it also contains subtlety and meaning, which the group has failed to achieve previously.

Enter Shikari now come with a message. This song is telling us to save the world from self-destruction – to be a community before we forget what it's like work together as a team. Of course, you wouldn't be mistaken in thinking this song sounds like Mike Skinner from The Streets gone psychotic. But this just adds to its appeal. Enter Shikari are no longer ugly ducklings – they are fully fledged musical swans.
