Fight Like Apes - Lend Me Your Face (Model Citizen)

Dublin quartet Fight Like Apes are set to unleash 'Lend Me Your Face' on digital release July 21st and physically out July 28th. Previously found on the EP How Am I Supposed To Kill You If You Have All The Guns and Jake Summers, 'Lend Me Your Face' is 1 minute and 53 seconds of pure raucous pop which assaults you right from the get-go.

The violation of synths, keys and guitars alongside twisted elements of early grunge and electro smacks you right between the eyes and you can't help but serve up some of your best pogoing moves in response.

Vocalist MayKay's screeching over such a bouncy punk pop and synth track should reek of indie novelty, but the sucker punch you are dealt tells you differently. You also won't be disappointed by the band's live performance; FLApes' live shows are also fast becoming legendary, with the likes of Steve Lamacq describing them as "some kind of pop exorcism".

A glorious punk thunderstorm, the track will only be available via a 500 strong limited edition 7" vinyl, so make sure you get your hands on a copy and lend MayKay, Pockets, Tom and Adrian your face (and ears).
