The Futureheads - Radio Heart (Nul Records)

The second release from 'This Is Not The World', The Futureheads have a lot of expectation to live up to. Their last hit, 'The Beginning of the Twist', made it into the UK top twenty by the skin of its teeth, and many expect something even bigger this time around.

With pounding drums and a guitar riff reminiscent of 80s punk, this song certainly has a lot of potential, especially with the rise of the indie scene in recent years.

It doesn't offer anything new, but what The Futureheads do, they do well. And this track will certainly be a fan-pleaser.

It may not be as catchy as 'Hounds of Love' or 'The Beginning of the Twist', but the lads have a knack of punching out tunes that grow on people with time, and this might be no exception.

Only time will tell whether their public agree.
