Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Well the weather outside is frightful, but I ain't seeing no fire that's delightful. As usual I've dragged myself out of bed after the humiliating Nottingham Forest vs Derby County game last night. Working in this weather is not a treat, even though I sit in an office all day. I long to spend my time down the park sledging or chucking carefully-constructed balls of snow at my mates.

Having spent my hard-earned cash on tickets for Forest for me and two well-selected friends I experienced the thrills and heartaches at the City Ground. How gutted am I Forest lost? Extremely. And what did I take from the experience? Not much - except that it hurts to be a Forest fan at times. But I did bag myself a Forest mousemat for my ever-so cluttered desk.

Anyway, what I love about the games are the chants and songs that are played during each. Spirits are high and even when the side are down a well-chosen track over the airwaves can cheer up a miserable crowd. Who makes up these chants? Genius, simple and so effective! I particularly enjoy the one about Derby fans liking sheep in a far too familiar fashion...
