End of the Road shortlisted for festival award

The End of the Road Festival has picked up a nomination for 'Best Small Festival' at the 2010 Festival Awards.

This follows a hugely successful year for End of the Road, where acts such as Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Wilco and Black Mountain played to the glorious, star-lit setting of Larmer Tree Gardens, with its peacocks, woodland and mysterious knack for summoning an Indian summer.

It was hailed across the press as one of the best years yet; the first batch of early bird tickets sold out within a mere nine hours of going on sale.

Standard tickets for End of the Road Festival 2011, which takes place from 2nd to 4th September, are now on sale to cope with demand.
