Hear'say's Danny Foster fails to rock The Voice UK

Following 2001's promised pop stardom after winning reality TV series Popstarz, Danny Foster's aspirations couldn't have been higher.

But Hear'say's whirlwind pop career was short-lived when the band split after just 18 months, following sales of almost three million records worldwide.

Foster this week appeared on BBC 1's The Voice, but his rendition of the Spice Girls' 'Wannabe' failed to wow The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J, and the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am.

"You sing really well and I understand what you were trying to do but it just didn't come together for me," Tom Jones told him.

"I thought the track was a little bit karaoke. That's why I didn't turn," Danny O'Donoghue added.
