Joe Mcelderry announces second single

2010 continues to be a success for X Factor champ Joe Mcelderry as he releases his second single, 'Someone Wake Me Up' from his debut album, Wide Awake.

Produced by Ray Hedges, 'Someone Wake Me Up' is the uplifting album standout and Joe's personal favourite. The track is the B-side to the lead track for the new Chronicles of Narnia 3D movie.

Joe McElderry has had a sensational year since being crowned The X Factor champion in 2009 and he is riding high on the wave of the small-town-boy-to-pop-star fairytale.

Joe's return to the X Factor this year proves he is a worthy pop star where he performed his infectious first single 'Ambitions'. His debut album, Wide Awake, shows off an exciting new sound; it reached number three in the UK album chart.
