The inaptly named Losers are the combined talents of XFM Remix stalwart Eddy Temple Morris and Tom Bellamy of Cooper Temple Clause fame. Until now these guys have been making their name as remixers for the likes of The Prodigy and Empire of the Sun and have already whet dance floor appetites with the scuzzy, heads down electro debut 'No Man Is An Island'.
'Flush' is a different kettle of fish altogether, which sees them draw on all their knowledge and rich musical heritage to create something simply massive. 'Flush' is tight, slick, catchy as hell ghetto-fused electro which enlists the on point vocal abilities of Riz MC & Envy, who simply nail it, delivering pinpoint tit-for-tat rhyming so sharp they could cut themselves. It also boasts some pretty tasty remixes from all forms of musical delicacies; from the driving beats and bass of the South Central mix to the filthy bass of the dubstep tinged Skism mix, there is something to set any dance floor alight.
Expect to hear this track or the related remixes ripping up dance floors in clubs and at festivals this summer. It's a fantastic single and hopes will be high for more of the same in the future. But for now it proves this duo are Losers only by name, not by nature.
